This dio was created as a use to old Tamiya figures of the Deutsches Afrikakorps. The base, the buildings and ground are scratchbuild using cardboard, small matches and modeling clay, the fine sand is real Sahara sand. Some types of painting technics were used. Start with brown enamels and then used acrylic and oils matching the deser colors like golden brown. Only bruches were used. Heavy drybrush used everywere. Finished in May 2012.
