Small But Strong Mule
I was always fascinated by the Vietnam war theme in military miniatures. I tried my own abilites and interest on this Dragon M274 Mule with 106mm recoilless gun (Catalogue No. 3315). These small cars were widely used for the mobile fire support. I spent much time searching the information on this interesting subject, finally I used the Italian magazine UNIFORMI of 1997, which contained a great photo session of Mule with 106mm gun, as well as on Ford Mutt M151.
I added some details to my Mule in accordance with the photos but the kit detailing is quite good. The base for the vignette is made of plaster, and I did not made a frame this time. The ground works are different spices of roots, moss, hemp and paper leafs. The figures are taken out of the box, I just added resin Afro head to the driver, and gave a shortened version of M16 to the gunner. The shell case is from the sprue. Dragon gave these guys too little ammo, while in real the Mules carried tons of equipment.

Единственно смущает "невесомоть" мула, чуть-чуть бы в грунт его притопить, все таки не 50 киллограм весил...
Как считаете?
