Slob
The figure came from TANK. Base is a siple piece of cardboard, placard stand is a plastic sheet of CD box, fallen leafs are birch seeds.
I added wires and slings to the helmet. All painted with acrylics except the face, for which I used artistic oils. I used custom display case that used to serve as a box of hand watch. Therefore I had to limit all composition in size.
It was a funny story with the name for the vignette. Once it occured to be shown to my friend who was an old army officer with very conservative vision of order. "What a lazybones! No respect to the rules of wearing uniforms", he said. "He looks like a slob!"
I would like to recreate the pessimistic feelings of the early 90-s, when the former Soviet, now Russian officers were returning home from the Eastern Europe, when the Union collapsed and the great army lost its hope after the defeat in the Cold war.
