Chopper Gunner [Figures]

Author Comment: The figure is based on the UH-1D door gunner, which belonged to the 1st Aviation Brigade. One side of his helmet showing he is the member of the "Starblazers" the 61st Aviation Company (Assault Helicopter), a sepаrate unit within the brigade. The emblem's design features a gold shooting star, representing gunship swiftness, circling a pair of dice showing "six" and "one". the unit number and a sign for luck. Opposite the decal is an american flag. He is carrying the M-60 machine gun which is the one from the chopper. At early war, most choppers don't have the mounting bar for the gun, it's only have a strap hook on top of the chopper ceiling, and for maintaining purpose, crew usually carry the gun out for clean up. Author Comment: The idea of the diorama is based on the group of a Navy Seal boarding the LSSC back from a "secert" operation, one team member been heavy wounded. He need treatment ASAP, immediately they get to the near port w/ medic pick-up by the Mutt Jeep. A Vietnamess solider is standby for assistance. The Seal craft are from DML and Jeep from Tamiya, all figures are DML w/ various weapons. Oil paint for skin and enamel for the rest. Hope you all like it.
